Independent Coffee On Oxford Street, London
If you're visiting London this festive season you'll no doubt feel compelled to visit Oxford Street to experience what is quite possibly the definition of this season's consumerist madness. It is London's most popular shopping street, filled with a sort of magic this time of year simply because it is decked with extravagant lights down the whole street, truly delightful and a splendid distraction from the high risk of getting caught in a crowd stampede.
The chances of you desiring some added energy on such a street is very high, so might I recommend two incredible coffee-spots? Both worth supporting as they are independently run and just a two-minute walk away from the madness of Oxford Street.
The first spot to try is Workshop Coffee.
80 Mortimer St, Marylebone, London W1W 7FE
or 1 Barrett St, Marylebone, London W1U 1AX depending on which side of Oxford/Bond street you're on! I went to the Mortimer St store which was perfect for a quick stop (or to get a takeaway) as the seating area is not paticularly big.
The second spot to try is Kaffeine. "Inspired by the amazing coffee culture in Australia and New Zealand, Kaffeine is an independently owned cafe and espresso bar with two locations in London's Fitzrovia, just 5 minutes walk from Oxford Circus or Tottenham Court Road. "
66 Great Titchfield St, Fitzrovia, London W1W 7QJ
Let me know if you visit! I'd love to hear about your experience when you're there.
And as always, may you never lose your wander!
